Power Quartetting Show Open to Public
The first Power Quartetting weekend in Portland will culminate in an informal contest and show that will be open to the public at 7 pm on Saturday, June 27 at the Holladay Park Church of God, 2120 NE Tillamook St. in Portland. Quartetters from all over the Northwest have learned six challenging arrangements and will spend Friday evening and Saturday singing them in various quartet combinations. They will be drawn into contest quartets at 4:30 Sat. afternoon for the 7 o'clock contest. The audience will decide the contest winner. There will be an afterglow following at Stark Street Pizza.
